Fourth of July and Camping at Loon LakeFourth of July weekend was spent with our favorite peeps over in Washington the Hathaways. Sure to be a good time. The kids had a great time playing together and we enjoyed sunshine, swimming, and a great firework show.

So proud to be Americans that we had to pose and kiss the air (not sure what that means).

I love fourth of July parades. The one we went to was pretty tame, but the kids got to battle for a little bit of candy and we got handed about 5 religious flyers explaining step by step how we can be saved, so I felt like it was still a success.

Dancing on the Wii with Michael Jackson...still don't have the moonwalk down though.

Waiting for the fireworks to begin.
We quickly followed up our weekend in Richland with camping at Loon Lake. It's my favorite camping spot to date.

This ball which turned out to be much bigger than I'd anticipated gave us quite the adventure. Twice it floated away nearly ending our courtship, only to be rescued by some kind boaters both times. And thank goodness for that because it kept us entertained for quite some time.

Tom's best GQ pose at the playground.

The girls all tucked in for the night.

Just a rock, but Jess was fascinated.

Still managed to squeeze a naptime in even with all the noise around us.

Discovered that sticking a peanut butter cup in the smores makes it just about perfect.
