Our sweet Lainey Loo turned 1 this week and I missed it because of girls camp. I was sad to be away from her but realize that if there is any age that warrants it ok it would be her first. I did get to face time with her briefly and sing to her.
She has been such a light in our lives. She blesses us every day with the sweetest smiles and babbles. She is stubborn and knows what she wants, but she also has a very calm, sweet nature about her. She LOVES her purple blanket more than anything in the world right now. At night she has her bottle and then shoves her blanket as far as it will go into her mouth and sucks on it until she goes to sleep. When she is tired and we give her the blanket she wrestles with it and cuddles her face into it. It keeps us very entertained. When she's not being dragged around by her sisters she crawls everywhere she can often getting stuck. She loves to stand, but has no desire to walk yet without assistance. She has just learned to clap and is hamming it up with her new acquired skill.
Simply put Lainey just brings more love to our home and we love her so!
