Ode to Hathaway

I was recently given a little bit of flack for not posting a little bit more about a family that has been a BIG part of our life. Jay (Tom's uncle) and Julia (Tom's Aunt) have been much more than family to us. They have been those friends that you really don't get tired of hanging out with, friends that you feel a little too comfortable around, friends that see us at our best and worst. But most importantly friends that have given us the memories of some of the best moments in our lives (cheesy but true). How careless of me to not give credit where credit is due. So in my meager attempts to somehow make up for it- this post is dedicated to some of the coolest people we know...The Hathaways.

Top Ten Reasons We Love The Hathaways

1. Life threatening pedicures (you know what I'm talking about Ju).

2. Deal or no Deal-WT moment of the year.

3. An excuse to buy and gorge on PB m&m's and an assortment of other junk food whenever we hang out.

4. Late nights and board games (emotions high, patience low).

5. Ping Pong (And who are the reigning champions?)

6. Garage Sales done the Hathaway way.

7. Five awesome kids that are often quieter than our two.

8. The BIG question...carbs or no carbs?

9. Jump rope with a large piece of kelp (or whatever that thing was) at the beach.

10. Convincing the guys to watch and then seeing them cry at the end of one of me and Ju's favorite movies North and South. Okay maybe they didn't quite cry...

This is only scratching the surface of what we love about Jay, Ju and their gang. Sincerely the list could go on and on. We love you you guys!
